A beautiful convertible sofa daybed from the Hungarian designer József Peresztegi from the art deco-bauhaus era. Classic elegant shape, art deco notes but at the same time the Bauhaus style is characterized by a steel tube curved frame embracing the bed. Completely renovated structurally, new chrome plating, reinforced-re-tied epeda springs, re-upholstered with Italian high-quality patterned velvet.
József Peresztegi, a well-known Hungarian bauhaus furniture designer and carpenter between the two world wars, and the II. became one of the defining figures of the post-World War II period.
